IE reg hack ?

I have read somewhere that in order for many sites to work you need to hack the registry in order to make it show up as though it is IE 5.5 (apparently it show up as version 3.2 or something like that)

Can anyone help me out here?

Has anyone done this? Are there drawbacks...other than the usual risks associated with registry hacking?

Ty just what I needed....

The only problem doing this is that your browser will no longer be detected as Pocket IE and you won't get forwarded to Pocket IE formated sites...
