axim, active sync, and Office 2003

Anyone tried active sycn with office 2003 (newest release of office). I'm finding that you can close outlook, and active sync doesn't stop it from being closed and therefore doens't sync new emails, tasks, calender stuff automatically. Anyone else have experience with this?

I'm having no problems with Office 2003. What version of Pocket PC do you have and what version of ActiveSync. I have WM2003 and ActiveSync 3.5.1

henricksonJ: make sure you have Activesync set to sync all tasks.

I use Office 2003, Wm2003 and ActiveSync3.7 with no problems. Everything syncs no matter the status of Outlook (open or closed) Am I to assume that it does not sync correctly only when Outlook shuts down in the middle of the sync ?

I use Office 2003, WM 2003, and Activesync 3.7.1 and have no problems regardless whether Outlook is closed or open.
