do you think ppc 2k3 will eventually be ftp?

with all the initial hype gone do you think dell will just put up a downloadable (not free of course) ppc 2k3 link on their site???

im thinking of upgrading but i dont want to go through the hassle of snail mail

I really doubt that they will. If I understand correctly, it is really a Microsoft issue - it is Microsoft that needs to be licensed for each version of PPC2003 sold.

Snail mail is really not a hassle. I ordered on a Tuesday and had the package by Friday.

I doubt it until dell figures out how to release it without users stealing it. I'm sure Microsoft doesn't want its OS to be shared without people paying for it.
