OK, I have a few databases that export to HTML/HTM files, that I like to have handy (cd collection, etc.).

Problem is, they won't open on my Axim. I open the file, IE opens, but it just bogs down and never displayes anything.

They are simple charts, in an HTML/HTM file, that is ~240KB. It bogs me down so much, that I actually have to close IE to be able to do anything else.

Any ideas

Am I doing something wrong?

About 1600 records. Simple text though, no links, color, graphics, etc.

Thanks for any help.

Could that be too much for Pocket IE? Try splitting the file into smaller sections...

Thanks, I am very interested in this because I am working on a site to pass Navy Property Record Card data to the clients. The total list as most bases would be in the thousands...

I have found that Pocket IE has a difficult time with large tables. I also have a few websites I visit that contain large tables with only text and it take PIE forever to display anything. Many times I have to kill PIE to get access back to the other apps.

I would recommend that you split the tables into MUCH smaller chunks. I don't believe its the text that causes the problem, its the tables....

Is there a HTML validator for Pocket IE? Would be nice to run some complex pages though and see what errors are happening...
