"Microsoft REader is no longer able to access the book"

I am new to the pocket pc world and I bought my first ebook and have and I am having trouble reading it on my x3. "Stickman" posted the same problem but I did not find the responses helpful.
I am able to download and open the free dictionary off of MS reader but not any books.

Reader was pre installed into my ROM. I reinstalled it into my RAM, and its activated. I downloaded an ebook to my PC and it opens and reads just fine. I can transfer it to my x3 and the book shows up in the library of my pocket PC. When I click on it, I recieve the following error:

"Microsoft REader is no longer able to access the book"

Please Help

I had this problem after I'd re-graded to wm2003

I downloaded M$ reader again activated it and worked OK

I know it's not a lot of help but I assumed that it was a registry problem or something and the reload cleared it up

If you upgraded reader, your icon could be pointing to the old version which, of course, will not work. Take a look and see if you have two folders with Reader. If so, make sure your icon points to the upgraded version.

i just had the same problem, after months of no problems. i had to re-activate both pc and my axim, seems to be ok now. i also dowloaded mobipocket reader, but i'm careful to keep the 2 book types on seperate flash cards. ms has to do something to make this problem disapear, i've been seeing more and more posts about ms reader problems. only ms would make what is essentially an easy procedure into a nightmare!

http://www.microsoft.com/reader/supp...q/update.asp#5

That link is Microsoft's official answer to the problem.
