Softmaker,where do i find option convert files

Have bought Softmaker but cannot load word files with tables on to my Axim X5 advance
Softmaker has ask to turn off the option to convert files
but were to I find it

Do an uninstall and re-install. Before Softmaker finishes the installation, it asks you to turn off ActiveSync's default conversion of Word doc files to pword docs. If you turn it off, you'll get Word docs (from your desktop) in your pocket pc not pword converted docs!

You don't have uninstall/reinstall.

Go into ActiveSync on the desktop.

Go to "Options->Rules"

Do "Conversion Settings".


For "Device to desktop", change Microsoft Word document and Microsoft Word Template to "no conversion".

For "desktop to device", do the same.

You should be all set.
