When is Pocket PC 2003 coming out?

I heard recently that Pocket PC 2003 is in the works. Does anyone know when it will be released and how it will differ from 2002?

Feeling a little anticipation? Remember, this is a Microsoft product. The correct question is when (or if) Dell will release PPC 2003 for the Ax. Nobody knows. My guess is summer (but I'm not saying which year). In the mean time, relax and enjoy your Ax. It's already awesome.

I just have not ordered mine yet. I am looking forward to getting one but if PPC 2003 will be coming out in the near future I may be willing to wait. It also would depend what will be new in 2003. Anyone know?

I've just ordered mine! Yay!

I've never had a Pocket PC machine before am looking forwad to it. When PPC 2003 does come out, can't you upgrade?

Maybe... We don't have any idea what Pocket PC 2003 will look like or how big it will be. Who knows, the 300mhz Axims could not have enought memory. Also it might cost $ to get the upgrade too.

That said we could be 6-8 months to the OS is released and then a couple weeks/months until Dell releases an upgrade package.
