file association for pocket word

Pocket word will not open two files i transferred to to my ppc. The error says no program associated with this file. I open pocket word and it will not open it. ( even after i reload it and re-save it in word)

Can any one help in this regard? I really do not wish to type a 214K file. Does anyone know how to get a portable keyboard for the axim?

The Microsoft Word files MUST be converted when Syncing between the PPC and your desktop.
Open up Activstync and into the Options menu. Then find the file conversion window and make sure that MSWord extensions are properly set for proper conversion.

The error message you're receiving tells me that the document may be using an unrecognized filename extension, or possibly none, since

Does the document's name end in .doc or .psw (e.g.: SomeDocument.doc or SomeDocument.psw) on your Axim? (Check it with File Explorer or your favourite file manager.) If not, then change its name on your PC to end in .doc (e.g. SomeDocument.doc) and re-send it, making sure that you have ActiveSync set up to convert Word documents to Pocket Word format. It should then be recognized as a Word document, converted to a Pocket Word document (e.g. SomeDocument.psw), and be accessible from Pocket Word.
