Power Button Flashing Light

After I sync, I may get an alarm sound and the Power Button starts to flash. The alarm comes from a Mail envelope on my Today screen. Tapping on the envelope takes me to Inbox and after returning to the Today screen the alarm envelope is cleared. However, the flashing light behind the power button at the top continues to flash until I presume it times out.

What causes the Power Button light to continue to flash? How can the flashing light be cleared?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The power light blinks when the Axim has something to tell you. You just need to figure out what that is... Task, Appointment, Alarm, email. Something is waiting for you.... :D

Yes, that is what I'm trying to figure out. When I get an appointment reminder, there is a screen to Dismiss or Snooze and I think that will clear the blinking.

But sometimes, I've tried clicking every screen I know and the light still flashes. After some period of time it eventually stops flashing on its own but I would like to know what it is trying to tell me before then. It could be important information.

If a task has turned RED (past due) will that cause it to flash? I've tried clicking all them and it doesn't stop the blinking.

If you look in: Start, Settings, Sounds & Notifications and go to the Notifications tab, you see a drop-down list of events, and below it, the settings for that event. Each has independent settings, one of which is Flash light for ...
