Looking for a feeler of how many satisfied members we have. I am trying to keep the community happy. I want honesty. No cheap shots though and don't forget the site is as young as the Axim itself. This threads purpose is for me to guage where the site should be moving towards.
1. What do you guys/gals want to see more of.
2. Are you satisfied with the forums and the way they are run.
3. Design and layout if any importance to you ?
4. If you ran this site, what would you do differently.
5. If you were turned off by something at this site, what was it ?
You don't have to answer all questions...I will respond to the feedback and justify why I do things a certain way. I am very open to good suggestions. I don't promise to make the site perfect, but hey - I can try... I work on the site as often as I can and try, but sometimes I need suggestions to know what the masses want. I am now starting to ramble...so I will shut up and post now...

Now if the FAQ and how to could get fully done, then it would be great.
The download section is slowly getting populated, so that is good, but it would be great to see it take off.
The only other suggestion would be to have a software recommendation section. I have seen so many people recommend various software packages (free and not so free) that it would be great to see a guide.
Something like - unhappy with this feature or lack of feature then try this software.

I love the site. The only things I'd change are things that can't be changed because they just take time and the site is so new. Like getting more downloads and tutorials and stuff. That just can't be done though except over the course of time and I have no doubt it will happen.

BTW - If anyone wants to submit "FREEWARE" to the Download section, I have added a feature to allow you to either link the download or upload to my server. You must be logged into the main site (separate login for now).
Keep them coming and you don't have to spare my feelings. I may cry but it will make me stronger...hehe

Love the site. I'm a little dissapointed with the forum changes that were made. I have worked with vBulliten, and I know it's a lot more stable than the previous version, however the turning off of image signatures, and decreasing of maximum avatar size to 50 x 50 pixles wasn't such a good change.
Other than that, no arguments here. Maybe bring back some of those other features, and then I'd give it a 10 out of 10 again.
The change in forum features dropped it to about a 8.5 - 9 for me. I enjoyed seeing the different Axim signature images and such that people had, and I think it gave the site a more pronounced presence. Makes it all look a little plain with that stuff disabled.

This is a fresh install and functionality will be returned as my vision returns....hehe...head is spinning from all this. hehe.
Things are changing for the better. The avatars will be made 64x64 again also. Thanks for understanding !

I understand Chris... haha... I've done some late-night recoding of entire sites myself... gets to the point when you've seen so many semi-colons and colons that you want to pull all your hair out.

The Main site functions will go away on/off for the next day otr so also. I am instlaling and customising ibPortal 3.0 also. This is the direction I think we need to move in....

Well, I bought a Axim just before i saw this site. But i was looking around over google(the best search engine:) and I found this site.
I can honestly say this is the most imformant site out there on the AX. The members are nice, and everyone out there seems to know something.
To answer your post here, i wouldn't really change much. more additions maybe but not really any changes. I like it the way it is
Although seems like some updates are being done now :)

Actually I think it would be much nicer without that extra coloum on the left side with the main menu and whos online and private messages stuff, it messes with the size of the actual forums especially for thunderhawk and programs used to view these forums on the Axim.
