Printing to an IRda enabled printer.

ok, heres the deal, at school theve got a printer that is IRda enabled and ide like to print from it just to experiment, how can i do this?... ive been able to connect with it as far as sending a file but i cant send a file. Can i maybe try sending a print file?, I know it detects that its connecting to it because the IRda activity light on the printer blinks.

Its also a good prank if I can get this workin, lol

THanks, Derek

You need software to do this. ONe is printboyce which is what I use (you can print mail, word, excel and notes, contacts).

I believe that hewlett packard has some free software that does this. Go to their site. I do not know whether your pocketpc must be a hewlett packard.

Good luck

HP Printing works fine on PPCs. You don;t have to have an Ipaq.

I don't know if it will work for IR printing, but I use it all the time for WiFi printing over the LAN.

Yes, I've used this for some time. Works fine over IR link. Only disadvantage is poor range of my X5. No good across a room, you have to hold the Axim close to the printer's receiver.
