Auto schedule birthdays

Ok, last night I was inputing some contacts and it automatically inserted the birthdays as all day events in my calander. But, this morning I tried adding a birthday to a contact, and it didn't make it into an appointment in my calander. Is there some setting for this? Thanks.

I don't know if you figured it out but I finally did, you have to sync first then it will show up in your calander

Yup, you have to sync a couple times. The first sync takes the birthday info from Contacts and adds it to info that needs to be sync'd in Calendar. Then syncing Calendar loads it into the appropriate dates....wierd.... :crooked:

Ok, so I figured out that it's actually Outlook 2002 on my computer that automatically puts brithdays into my calander. So, synching my pda made my contacts on my computer update, which placed it into my calander, and then my calander on my pda was updated.

Anyways, is there a way to make it automatically happen without synching to outlook?

btw, I may have a black Sena case with clip for sale real soon. Those aluminum cases look so perty :p

After syncing, the birthdays of my contacts still don't show up in my calendar.
Is there a setting that needs to be turned on or what?

Try creating a contact in outlook with a birthday, and see if it shows up in the calander. If it does, then make sure your calander is set to synch. If it doesn't create an event in outlook, then I guess it's a setting in outlook.
