Have you tried a different city code/ zip code? I dont want to beat a dead dog, but I had to try a couple of different codes for my second city before it worked.
I also use the battery bar from the same company and its buggy.
I feel your aggravation.

I downloaded and have been running 1.1.13 for the last 3 days. This has been the only version on the Axim.

The weather is the only thing that works perfectly. It has updated the last 3 days. Again, I can click on any of my stocks and pIE will come up and display the quote, but the news, markets indices, etc never update (except the weather).

Just checked my version its 1.1. Looks like the updates are the problem.
Dont think Ill update to the new version just yet.:crooked:

its a funny thing the way they update, when you install it and look at the help file it will still say v1.1 even if its 1.1.1 or 1.1.2, you can tell when you *first click the .exe to install it it'll say in the heading what the real version youre installing is.
The new version 1.1.3 just came out like 1 or 2 days ago so you might wanna check that you have the right version, if you'vebeen using it for more then that many days then its NOT the newest version.

I checked this out but it does not give any ver. info with my .exe file. After looking at the history of the updates I have come to the conclusion that I have v1.1.2. This is because in my help screen it list English and French but not German as stated in the v1.1.3 description.
I think Ill keep what I have for now, the latest update wont be of any benefit to me.
If it aint broke dont f with it.

One thing I have found to be helpful is while the Ax is in it's cradle scroll through the various JB sections once. It often either forces the update or forces the display of a completed update.

To find out what version of JB you are using go to "Start", tap "Settings", tap "Today", tap "Items", tap "Journal Bar", tap "Options", tap "Links" tab, and check "Display this page", hit OK. Go back to the Today screen and bring up the Links icons. At the far right hand side tap on the "?" and it will bring up a page showing what version of JB you have.

That ? links to the Help. From the Today screen - Start | Help | Journal Bar gives the same page. I do have 1.1.13. I took the MA701 out since I went out to do some errands. When I put it back in, JB updated once - it's been 4 hours since it did anything. Sigh. I also emailed Omega One to see what they can do to help.

The ? brings up the same JB help that is on the start menu. Mine shows only 1.1. The only evidence I have of the version on my PPC is the reference to English or French on the opening page of help.

Omegone points out this problem with JB on their website and say they're working on a fix.
It seems omegone has a lot of bugs in all of the software they put out. Battery bar is also plauged with problems and the documentation sux. What do you expect for 9 bucks.

What I'm talking about is when you click the exe, not right click it, etc, when you click it to install it an omega one install logo pops up look on the title of that and it will tell you your version info, if you download it from pocketgear.com right now its version 1.1.3 its been updated.

My home city is Jupiter FL., it's working just fine. Of course, it's not hard since it's pretty consistantly warm and sunny, thank God, lol.

I too have the demo of JB...it worked flawlessly the moment I installed it....(v. 1.13), but now, 4 days later, it ONLY updates weather and stocks, the news updates blink a the new headlines, then revert to the ones from 4 days ago....is it having trouble rewriting over them or what?
