USA vs UK

Do you think its worth getting the Axim from the USA or the UK ?

My cousin lives in SC and is willing to buy it for me then ship it over (not sure what the shipping cost's will be)

Was wondering what will happen if I have a claim on the warranty ?

The US = $314 (£197)
The Uk = $446 (£278)

Any help gladly excepted

The warranty won't be valid as it belongs to the purchaser. Secondly how will you charge it? You'll still need to buy a UK mains connector.

For the sake of a week or two wait, I'd get it from the UK. By the looks of a couple of people on this board, it's already started shipping. You've also got the risk that customs will open it and whoop you for VAT, there's your cost advantage gone.

I just on another thread on this board that the Axim power supply is good for the UK and US together but you still need another lead of some sort.
