Green Notification Light?

since i got my axim a couple weeks ago, i haven't seen the green light since the initial charge. i've charged my axim quite a few times and the battery indicator says that it's at a 100% but the light is always amber and never green? should i be worried? should i just keep it charging until i see the green light? i usually just stop chargin when it hits 100%. any ideas?

It shouldn't matter how long you charge. The battery is "smart". I'd just leave it in whenever you can.

I would try running it down about 2-5%, then charging for a few hours to see if the green light ever shows up.

i actually just followed my own advice and stopped being impatient and let it charge longer rather than just stop charging when i see 100%. i finally got a green light. thanks for the suggestion though.

There's no reason to pull the Ax out of the charger. Li batteries love being charged.

The green light will eventually come on. My observation is that the green light shows up when the batter completely reaches 100%, not just when it hits the 100% mark on your battery monitor. Since these LiIon batteries cannot be overcharged in this manner, I would always say just leave it there until you see it go geen unless you have to take it out. In any case, you will be OK.
