Programs on SD card

Hi ya'll - just a small issue here.

I have an SD card with some programs (Bible, games, etc.) on it. I got another SD card and filled it up with music for a trip I was going on. When I put the one with programs back in, my icons wouldn't open anything up from the SD card.

Is there a solution for this, and will I have to fix it every time I swap cards?

Thanks!

Rich

Try a Soft Reset with the Program card in place.

However, I don't have this problem, I've got programs on different SD Cards and switch them willy-nilly and my shortcuts always work.

How did you get the apps on the SD card? Were they installed there via ASync, or did you move them there from Main Memory?

Also, do you need to create these shortcuts, or are they automatically created if you move a program from main memory to the SD card (which I guess I would try to do using the PC and Active Sync' s"Explore" option, if I ever had the nerve....)

I wouldn't recommend doing that (manually moving programs), unless you are really comfortable with what you are doing, and realize you may need to go into the registry to point programs at the new location. Better to remove and reinstall it directly to the SD card.

thanks..

Cool, thanks for the info......obviously (from my prior posts), I'm not one that really likes to muck around with things. I'll take your advice and simply re-save onto the card. ;)
