Can anyone confirm this?

How does maybe grab you? Yes the Xscale can support SDIO, but who knows if Dell will. Heck, they don't even seem to understand what SDIO is... :D

Well, as I read it, these two statments are contradictory.
One article says yes, the other says maybe ... which equals not yet.

At least from what I understand, all XScale processors have the capability of runnin and SDIO port, but if the OEM did not provide enough connections to the slot, SDIO is not available to these devices. The Axim, as well as the HP1910, seem to fall into this category.

The had a succinct article on Brighthand about this back in January.

Yeah - it seems like a maybe possibly but not yet. When? Who knows. SDIO is still rather scarce, from my perception, even now.

Could turn out like firewire on PCs :)

Lord, I hope not...

But, anyway... Just keep your eyes open, at one point and time Dell will issue something on this - they HAVE to, darn it.
