Try ActiveSync 3.7.1

I had the same problem with my Axim X5 Advanced in Dec. 2003. I called Dell and they couldn't figure it out . . . I stumbled across an update to ActiveSync (3.7.1) that I installed and haven't had any problems since the upgrade.

Give it a try . . .can't hurt! Good luck!

Emily :)

With plenty of reasearch and frustration I have found in outlook the rules wizzard you can forward all of your email from your inbox to a file named inbox on the outlook today page which will sync to your ppc but you can not forward email such as HTTP. What a bummer

Quite right... us users of IMAP email have been living with this sort of agony for quite some time. It just doesn't seem fair - IMAP is so superior to POP3, yet it isn't allowed to be the "real" Inbox in Outlook. I've thought of the rules wizard / forwarding idea too, but problem: IMAP syncronizes your deletions, so how do you get the emails deleted from the "copy" Inbox automatically too? Maybe I'll just have to suck it up and delete everything twice.

Any ideas?

Shameless self plug bellow :D

You can use HTTPMail (an add-on for pocket outlook) to synchronize hotmail/msn with your pocket pc Inbox. It works with 2002 and 2003 PPCs over any kind of internet connection including GPRS.
Available at PocketGear (http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=9539) and Handango (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProd...roductId=79010).
The evaluation has full functionality but will expire in 30 days, give it a try.
