Remote Sync

Looking for ideas?

I use an Axim X5 equipped with a Socket CF Wireless card. I have no problem using wireless at any of the locations I hang out at but I just can't seem to remotely sync. I work on a college campus and if I am on the campus walking around I can sync. However, this means I am not coming through the campus firewall. When I am home using my wireless system (Netgear) it doesn't work to try and sync. I have a static IP on my home wireless access point and I have had the campus firewall opened to allow my IP through using the four ports I have read about. But still no luck.....

Anyone have any ideas?

Not an expert - however - sounds like a firewall issue at the campus.
Just curious - which campus? We recently moved back from SF,SD after 8 years - loved it!

Black Hills State University.... Way on the other side of the state...

Oh, and about the firewall... Yes, I'm afraid its being blocked some where.

I just have to get the wall tackled....
