Can you buy Dell in store in USA?

The price of the Axim is lower over the pond, so on my next visit to the US I could pick up an Axim. That is, if they sell Dell stuff in stores over there?

Only way that I know of to get it at the moment is to order it online. Maybe you could have a friend order it for you so it's waiting when you get here?

Dell also has kiosks in some of the major malls. If they are here in Cleveland, I'm guessing that they are in most major metropolitan areas. Unfortunately, they are just a walk-up extension of the online or phone ordering. You still get the product shipped from the factory.

The DELL kiosks are available in about 55 locations throughout the USA, however, you can NOT actually pay for one at that location and bring it home with you. I worked at one of these kiosks (Franklin Mills Mall, Philadelphia, PA), for two months. The kiosk is a marketing technique, geared to show the users what the computers look like and can do. No matter what you do, you can not bring any DELL componant home with you from the Kiosk. You can order one, but you can't bring it home with you.
