Multiple button presses to turn off

My Axim has recently been requiring 2 or 3 button presses to be turned off. Does my Axim have a problem? Anyone else experienced this?

One quick click should do it. It may take a second or two for the software to get ready for sleep, but it should only take one.

scottm so,

I am assuming that you are referring that, while the Axim is in the cradle and when you turn off your PC after that you have to press 2 or 3 times to shut off the Axim. If that's the case then it is normal.

This is what you should do, once you turn off your PC give few seconds for the Active Syn to disconnect automatically from your PC. Once the Active Syn is shut off, then press the power button on your Axim. Some times you will notice that even after this exercise Axim turns on by itself, do not worry about it, go into "Settings" and select "System" tab and click on "Memory" icon and select "Running Programs". In here click on "Stop All" and then switch off the Axim.

Do not worry there is nothing with your Axim.

I hope this will help you.
