Since migrating to WM03, my Axim will lose connection with my desktop a minimum of 5 times a day...anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix? A setting to check??? HELP!

Yeah, I just got a brand-new X5 delivered (ordered a couple of days before they ran out... hehehe) and it drops ActiveSync all the time too (system came with WM-03 installed).

...stays recognized by the PC as a USB device, though - I just end up unplugging and plugging in the sync cable. Nice to know that it's maybe an OS bug - gives me faith that a fix will be released in the future sometime :)

Well, I'm using a USB hub, so I'm try it without when I get home tonight. Think this could be your issue as well?

Hmm

Yeah...that happens to me all the time too. Not every day, mind you, but often enough. I have not had a dropped connection yet today, but yesterday I had to unplug and plug in my X5 at least 15 times.

BTW - I am connecting with a cradle via a USB port. Do others not experiencing this problem when connecting a different way?

if you hit the power button on the Ax and power it back on in the cradle, you wont have to unplug it. Unfortuanately, it seems to be a fact of life that i have learned to accept. If you find a fix, great.
