Can sync wirelessly, but not through usb.

this is very strange indeed. i don't understand what's going on. i hook on my axim to the usb sync cable and my machine recognizes it, activesync starts, then it says connection error and disconnects. anyone else have this problem? if you have and you have the solution, please share. thanks.

What other programs are you running? I have the same problem, but that is because of my AIW vid-card driver. I have to shut off the TV everytime I want to do anything USB.

Try uninstall/reinstall AS -- ppl have had lots of trouble with this program.

To synch wirelessly, you need to establish a partnership first -- then all you got to do is call up active sync in ur Ax and click 'synch' =)

Cheers.

clapaz,

On Activesync on your PC/Laptop, go to "file" and choose "Connection settings".

Make sure that you checked "Allow USB connection with this desktop computer". Make sure that a USB connection is stated as "available".

Cheers,

Sabesh.

Also make sure you are connecting directly to the PC, not using a USB hub...it's picky about that, mine refused to work through a hub.
