Speaker buzzing

Sometimes my speaker makes a little "buzzing" noise along with the sound when I turn it off then turn it back on. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Mine does that sometimes also. Sounds like the speaker is blown. I did a soft reset and it went away but I have not narrowed down yet what makes it happen.

It has happened to me too. The funny part is, I was showing it off to a friend who was going to buy one, then my speaker decides to sound like shi#. Dell lost a sale right then and there.

I can't narrow it down either...damn it can be annoying.

yea I found that the speaker is crap and that you shouldnt turn it up all the way when listening to music, movies etc. I almost always use my earbuds and only use the speaker for alarms;)

the only time I really experianced wierd crappy sound was when I messed with my Pocket Music Preset equalizer settings then the normal sound outside the progrma was wierd, then I did a soft reset and it went back to normal, don't know why this happened and it was isolated, but strange non the less! :crooked:

This still happens with my Axim. I have updated it to a new ROM (A03 I think). BTW, my Axim hardware is revision A05 with a PXA250 300MHz processor. Is it possible that this is the fault of a program on my Axim? If it's the hardware, would Dell replace it?
