Handango WARNING!
Just a heads up to those who order from Handango - there seems to be a problem with tracking your previous purchases, and no one will respond to questions.
I've purchased dozens of items from this source, and starting about 10 days ago, all of the previous purchase records were lost. No one will answer the phones or the support emails.
Just a heads up!

Yea, Handango is really bad about that. My wife bought some "ring tones" for her cell phone through them and she never got them. As with any web purchase its always Caveat Emptor.

That is too bad :hide:
I hope this is only a temporary glitch. My points, my points...
Let us know how it turns out.

I think it is only some software glitch. If you goto lookup previous orders using your credit card number and email address they are still all there. Or at least mine are. So if they can be found in this manner, I think the other way with the reward points etc will be up once they fix what must be a software problem.

you should try getting ppc software from www.pocketgear.com
I have bought all of my software from there and they are great about keeping track of everything and giving you access to all your programs again for download whenever you want great for free updates too.

That is not a very comforting thought that your credit card is accessible from the website. Most of the places seem to use your credit card # for the transaction and then it is removed entirely from the system. When you want to buy another product you enter it again.

Update
The previous poster was correct that I can get to my previous purchases using another method. However, the fact that the normal link is BROKEN and Handango refuses to answer email or phone requests for help is unacceptable.

It isn't the entire credit card number. I should have typed it differently, it is only the last 4 digits of the card used for the purchase and the email you used when you purchased. So if you used different cards for different purchases then you would have to look up the accounts multiple times.
Sorry for the confusion. :(

Another comment about pocketgear.com. Recently purchased a game from them. Had problems installing it and getting the authorization code from the software co. Finally, after trying to work with the software co, I contacted pocketgear.com, requesting a refund. I received it almost immediately.

That's good service. I bought a piece of software from Handango, and got into a pissing match between the software developer and Handango, BOTH insisting that I was supposed to get the reg code from the other. After 2 weeks, Handango figured out their problem and supplied the code.

Hey guys! We need to wake up and smell the coffee! Handango sounds like it is ready to CRASH! From what I have read here, I would STAY AWAY!!!
