Disabling activesync from going on the web

Whenever I activesync, activesync always brings up my internet dialer. I don't use my ax for any internet stuff (am on dialup and it is painfull enough). How can I disable this?

On Chris De Herrera's ActiveSync website (item 15 under Synchronization errors):
Quote:
Your PC attempts to connect to the internet whenever you synchronize. This is caused by ActiveSync attempting to start internet passthrough. You can disable this by launching ActiveSync, clicking on File - Connection Settings. Uncheck the option "Allow Network and RAS..." Also if you have an Inbox POP3 or IMAP4 account on your Pocket PC 2002, select the ActiveSync profile. This will prevent your Pocket PC from using the PC for internet pass through to access e-mail.
Note that the sentence I've made bold suggests you need to make a choice between using the passthrough option and stopping the dialing.

I "checked" this and it is unchecked and my activesync still wants to log onto the net....
