AIM Not Connecting

FYI, if AOL Instant messenger (AIM) refuses to connect via a live
ActiveSync internet connectiong, change the port to 80. Click setup; then change the port number to 80.

I was having all sorts of problems connecting AOL Instant Messenger and it was blamed on it not playing well with MSN Messenger. I did an internet search for "aol ports" and found some interesting material. Once I changed the port to 80, I connected with no problems.
