Help Restoring After Hard Reset

HELP
I just called DELL and they got me to do a hard reset but now I cant restore my data because the thing says it is the wrong Pocket PC. How can I get my data back on?
Please Help ASAP! I have things to do today and I need my AXIM back up and running!

I am assuming that you have done a backup with Activesync since that is what your message is implying. You need to do a following:

Remove your Ax from the cradle. Delete your partnership that you just created. Then reconnect it to the cradle. When it asks you to create a partnership, don't create one. Instead select the option to connect as guest. Then use Activesync restore your backup to your Ax. When the restore is done, remove your Ax from the cradle and soft reset.
