Problems with ebcases travel kit USB cord & 12V charger?

I bought the Travel Kit from EBCases, and have noticed that sometimes when I plug the cord into a USB port the Ax will charge, but other times it won't. I've also had a problem with the 12V cigarette lighter plug. It doesn't fit in the socket well enough to make contact. It only charges if I hold it in with my hand. As soon as I let go the red LED goes out. Anyone else using these products having problems?

I had a similar problem, with a GPS unit I purchased for the AXIM. What i had to do with the cigarette lighter adapter is 'trim' it...basically you take a razor blade, about 1/4" down and just trim that off, it seems there is a generic adapter out there that the plastic casing around the plug is too close to the AXIM case, trim off a bit and it works fine....
