SD memory card problem

My axim will not recognize my 128mb simpletech sd memory card and slows way down while the card is inserted. I have tried soft and hard resets and replacing the card. Nothing works!! I have reviewed the threads on this site and at the dell support site. It appears that axim's failure to recognize sd cards is a common problem. Short of exchanging the axim or demanding a refund, has anyone found a solution??

When you say you replaced the card, did you mean you tried a different card?

I would suggest using Storage Tools to format the card and see if that helps.

It seems like if you tried different cards with the same results, it may be the Axim at fault. My SanDisk 256 SD card worked fine from the first moment without any formatting, but all it takes to mess it up is to pull it during a write operation.
