How large is your "Windows" folder and what to get rid of?

Ha, I didn't know MS put an index.dat on the PDA. It's a notorious file in Windows that does the same thing (keeps growing as you surf and never erases itself whenyou tell IE to delete offline content or clear cache). There are a number of conspiracy theories for what it does in Windows (there's about 5 or so Index.dat's on an XP machine). The easiest way to erase them in Windows is to boot into safe mode (press F8 as Windows is booting), go into DOS (Start -> Run -> CMD [OK]) and type del index.dat /a /s I have no clue if there is an easy way on the PDA.

I have many help files of programs that I have deleted/removed/uninstalled/etc. from my Axim and the help files have been left. One major one is the Veo software with help files in many different languages. How do I delete these files?

my windows registry is 42mb but have a sh!t load of software intalled. i dont than any of the dll files ae junk. i sorted the folder by type and went thru all the dll's. I dunno about the .dats. Maybe theres a couple of those but should be <5kb in total
