adding an avatar!
OK...the avatar I had before is GONE! The selection list says if I have 0 posts I can add one of the ones on the site. HMMMM........If I don't, then I can add my own (of which I have none). So I guess this means that if I don't have a personal avatar hanging out on a web site somewhere, I can't have one here. Boy, and I have been participating in forums for 10 yers (at a minimum). Someone needs to wake up and smell the coffee!!:rolling:

What do you mean? I guess I don't get it. You can a) use one of the default avatars b) link to an avatar you have online or c) upload an avatar that you have on your local computer.
As long as it meets the criteria of 70x70 pixels and is under 20kb (I think) then you are good to go, how many more options do you need!? ;)

Thanks for the help (NOT!)! Are you one of the New Moderators? What you have to realize is that we are not as SMART as you. So if you could be more helpful instead of sarcastic, maybe, just maybe, I could learn something here....

Mine was gone too and I created another one. As long as you have the file saved somewhere (no need for it to be on the internet) you can use it.

To find the avatars or load a new one:
Click on Control Panel
Click on Edit Options
At the bottom you'll see the avatar stuff.
Click on change avatar and you will be provided with the different options.
Hope this helps...
