Transferring from CF to SD card - as simple as copy and paste??? or not?

I want to transfer all of my programs and files from CF to SD card. I am hoping all of my shortcuts will be followed.

Is it as simple as copy and paste??? or not?

Will I have to reinstall all of my programs on my sd card?

For data files it is as simple as copy and paste. I don't think any shortcuts would change if using copy and paste, but you can change them manually and try the programs to see if they work without a reinstall.

I just did this with my axim. I made a copy of my cf card on my computer then copied everything to my sd card. But you have to change *all* the shortcuts to point to the new location on the sd card. I move all my program or game shortcuts from windows/start menu to a folder I created on my sd card called shortcuts. I then use claunch a very nice program launcher to make shortcuts right on the today screen.
