Axim Not Responding...

I've had my Axim 5 since it first came out and I have NEVER had a problem up until yesterday. When I went to sync it, I got an error message saying that "no response from mobile device, unable to sync appointsments." I figured that I would uninstall then reinstall Activesync. That worked...my device synced up. Then today I get back into the office, hook my Axim into the cradle and I get the same error message. Please help!!! Thanks so much.
