Axim not switching on when appointment is due

Just got my Axim and when I set an appointment, it doesn't automatically switch on and play the alarm (the appointment notify i sset to remind me).

However if I manually switch on after the appointment was due then the alarm plays and the appointment pops up.

Any ideas what I've not done/am doing wrong?

Heh - reset fixed it. Not sure what happened though. For some reason, it would only refresh alarms when the unit was turned off then on i.e. setting an appointment for 5 minutes ahead (with a 5 min reminder) wouldn't bring up an alarm until I switched off and then switched back on.

Most strange.
