Contact list is gone

My contact list is no longer available on my Axim. None of the usual ways of displaying the Contact list work. Contacts is checked in the Sync Options. Everything is reported to be Synced. Everything is OK on my PC. Until today, the Axim has been working just fine.

i backup to sd card if you got cf work too

There is a known problem with Contacts. If you close Contacts using the switcher while you have a Contact open (not the list of contacts, but an actual contact) you won't be able to open Contacts. A soft reset will solve the problem.
