Good News!!!!

Hello my fellow comrades! Good news, I originally ordered my Axim on Feb.12th and Dell informed me through their website, as well as on the phone that my Ax would be shipping on or before Feb.24th. I would continuously check their website everyday just to see if maybe the status changed. Well, as of yesterday (Feb.19th) Dell's website showed that my order had been shipped but no tracking number yet. I checked back this morning (Feb.20th) and had a tracking number but could not view any detail on the shipping because the status was "Billing Information Received". I just went to the UPS website to check one last time before I went to bed... and Lo and Behold it is in the local area here in Atlanta (arrived 7:49 p.m.), it will be delivered tomorrow (Feb.21st). I was crossing my fingers hoping that it would arrive before this weekend so that I would be able to go out and start shopping for a nice case. I knew the light was at the end of the tunnel, but I definitely see it now. Man, am I so happy right now!! The other good thing is that one of my co-workers heard me talking about the Axim I had ordered and told me he was looking into buying one. I did a cross comparison of a couple of PDA's he was interested in and threw in the Dell for him to take a gander at too, as well as price comparison. I told him this morning that mine was shipping earlier than expected and he said he was going to hold off from buying one until mine arrives to look at. He told me later today that he was leaning on getting the Dell, but still wanted to look at mine. I told him that was fine and that once he sees my Ax, you will definitely be placing your order. We will have another Dell Axim Member very soon (my co-worker). I apologize for just rambling on, I am so excited right now and the fact that I talked one of my co-workers into buying the Dell over the other PDA's he was looking at. My Ax is coming, "Yea, Yea!!" :D :D :D Signing Off.

Hey man, sorry to burst your bubble, but it seems that Dell accidentally got our orders mixed up. They called me and informed me that they're rerouting the package to my doorstep, and you'll get yours in about 3 years or so.

Just kidding:D I already got mine, and I hope you get the chance to enjoy yours soon too. And I know you've heard this a million times, but don't just wait for the green light, wait for the full 4 hours, after all, what are you gonna do right away on your Axim that you can't do on a PC? Just keep telling yourself that, and it will make the wait a little (maybe?) smoother.

Thanks b9, it did arrive today and I have it charging as I speak. Thanks for telling me about the full 4 hours for charging. Man, I am so excited it is here and I can finally play with my new toy(after it is fully charged of course).

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have another co-worker, who is now interested in the Dell after talking to him... The Dell Axim has now become the hot topic of discussion in our office. Slowly but surely converting one at a time to the Axim.
