I don't think ICQ has a PPC version. At least I don't see one on there web site here.

I use it from time to time. I'm not a huge fan of IM on PocketPC. Its too hard to type.

Problems?

I guess mostly that my friends can type faster than I can... The conversation window is really small and you lose track of what you are talking about. As far as the program, it works well. I'm never in it enough to say whether its buggy or not, but for casual use it works well. It looks and acts just like ICQ for windows so there really isn't any learning curve.

I guess I'm just not much of a hunt and peck typer...

well i use icq on PPC when i'm away from home (like I was all of last week) using my GPRS phone for the internet connection and i have been quite pleased with it. I would not spend hours chatting with friends on it; that would be too difficult. (don't have a keyboard. i use the on-screen one sometimes or the graffiti)

Still I'd recommend it as a way to keep in touch on the go...

I have no problems using ICQ on my ppc,
in fact its a reason i got my axim... i dont
have to sit on the pc chair to talk to my friends
and family...

I only wish Yahoo msgr.. for PPC would work!..
