Ordered the 13th Dell gave est ship date of March 3 but yet I hold it in my hand as I write the AXIM is HERE! Going to have a fun weekend exploring my new toy!
(Basically this is a heads up as I am sure I will be posting a milllion questions next week!)

Congrats. I just got mine about an hour ago. I'm promising to do this right....I'm going to let it charge for four hours before using it.

So, if you'll excuse me, I have to go stare at it for four hours now.

BTW....I ordered it on Saturday evening so that means 6 days. Color me impressed.

Did you get the cradle with the cool blue light? Worth the extra $$$. . . and more interesting to stare at during that first battery charge.

Yup, got the cradle. Also got the Dell TrueMobile, extra sync cable and higher capacity battery. Haven't plugged it in, though.

I think I'm going to start hunting for a third-party holder, though. I kind of like the hoslter from Pocket Solutions. Still debating though.

The wife and kids are gone for the weekend and I'm trying to get all my other tasks out of the way so I can focus all my attention on the PDA.

(You know you're getting old when you have the house to yourself for the weekend and your biggest plans are getting to know your new PDA.)

I am going the wait awhile and see what other cases become available. I will use the case I got from Dell, though it limits pocketability to the larges pockets. I haven't decided what kind of case to get. I like my aluminum case for my Clie. Looking for something similar for the Ax--one that will keep it down to shirt pocket size. I got an extra battery(not the hi-cap one) and thought it should be enough.

I too got the 400m and all the "extras" they offer, and suprisingly the 4 hours of initial charging went by pretty fast (of course I had a 3 year old to entertain and chores to do so...)
Amazingly I haven't screwed up the Axim yet and have no questions thus far...but I am sure I will eventually!

The blue DELL light on the cradle is just that...cool!

Thursday, so I am hoping for today or tomorrow (after a ship

Mine was supposedly shipped Saturday morning - does anyone know from where they ship? The tracking number hasn't appeared yet and I am sadly desperate to figure out how many days its going to take.

Thanks Wolfsky for the link but I have that page already bookmarked and hit reload every couple of hours...

I know it takes up to 48 hrs for the # and its probably already on a UPS truck somewhere. I just need some patience!!
