DeLorme Street Atlas, Are you having this problem?

I got my Axim as a package with Pharos GPS and Ostia mapping program. I found that Ostia was weak at best. I installed the DeLorme and got it to recognise my GPS device. However, I have a difficult time getting maps to save on my sandisk. The problem comes when trying to open the file for subsequent use. DeLorme had me select every folder to get the program to find the file properly. Anyone else see problems like this?

A quick check of my settings shows that the only directories I have selected are "My Documents" (which must be the default because I've never put maps in main storage) and one check on the "SD Card" level. Technically that means I have every folder on the SD card selected, but I only had to make that one selection and it will find anything on the card.

Did you mean every folder everywhere or just every folder on the card?

I'm not using GPS, but I wouldn't expect that to cause an issue with DeLorme being able to find its own maps.

I meant every folder. Clearly the file I need to open is on the Sandisk. Because when I remove the card I can not find the file. I think this is a DeLorme issue. I can browse via windows and see the file. But when I try to launch the program by selecting the map file, the map barely recognizable. It does does have some evidence though that it was my saved file.(saved routes for example) but none of the roads are viewable. Weird! When I use the app to search for the file, that is when I have to select every directory everywhere. DeLorme would not admit to any program problem.

I wonder if you are talking about the same prob I am having. When you sync the files to the Ax they automatically go into the buitl in storage. If you move them, I can't get Delorme to find them, the Ax freezes on me...
