Axim and Apple IMAC
I'm thinking about joinin the "dark side" Any problems using my Axim and synching with an Apple IMAC. Any considerations I should think about. I especially don't want to lose the ability to sink my email. Anyone using activesync with Virtual PC

How Does It Work?
I use outlook for my email and contacts. Do you email and contacts sync from the Mac. Also, I use Listpro and Ewallet. Would these sync without difficulty. Any other issues I should know?

Thanks.

To sync with the mac directly you'd need this...

http://www.pocketmac.net/

It syncs with iCal and the Mac Address book.

I woudl be careful for three reasons, I use both macs and PCs, and an axim, so here are my reasons:

1) Pocket PC is really just intended to sell more PCs, Microsoft's strategy now is etnering a bunch of markets simulataneously, like PDAs, consoles, phones, and buying up software in those market,s then, once everything becomes XML based (.net), they will merge all this into their windows market share. It's all about this IMO. It doens't mean that dell doesn't have kickass hardware at a good price though In fact, this is part of the reason they do

2) Microsoft just bought virtual PC, they own it now

3) You have to either use a 3rd party program, or MS Virtual PC to sync.

I'm sure you can do this, but I would just say be wary about it. I bet the third party app though, for mac native, would work out better than using Activesync on Virtual PC anyway, I like to keep my OSX native when I can. But what I usually just do is transfer files using a Compact-Flash reader and my iBook, and I sync to my PC, but I rarely use PIM no my desktops ayway so it doesn't maek too big of a difference to me.

EDIT: ugh... this post editor sucks, it doesn't put the tags and smiles next to the cursor, but at the end
