Cannot Connect to Network Shares
I have a Netgear MA701 CF wireless card setup and running on my wireless network at home. I can access the internet, sync wirelessly, but I CANNOT see my other networked computers. :rolling:
Both of the computers I would like to connect to are running WinXP with open permission shares for everybody. I am running a workgroup... no domain. I can ping the computers by ip address or netbios name fine, but when I goto open the share via a UNC (eg. \\computername\share or \\192.168.1.100\mp3) I get a message that says "The network path cannot be found."
The computers are even listed under the Resco File Explorer when I goto map a drive, but whenever I try to click on it, it times out. My device ID is a gizppc, which I can ping fine from my other computers. I have seached the forums far and wide, but can't seem to find any solutions for this one. So, I'm lost and looking for suggestions (especially from people who have had similar problems in the past). Thanks!
