Event Reminder Sound

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated as this is annoying the heck out of me...

I cannot change the sound file that my X5 plays when a reminder pops up for an event or task due. Everytime, it plays the "Alarm2" sound repeatedly, louder and louder. It lasts for 10 seconds, and is really annoying. I want to change this, and have tried through "Settings" and "Sound and Notifications." However, nothing changes the reminder sound....

What am i missing? Thanks!

Do you have any 3rd party applications that modify the notifications?

I don't think the PPC OS will gradually increase the volume...nor is it particularly reliable. It sounds like you have another application controlling the alarm. Therefore changing the alarm is probably within the apps control.
