I love it, but it's a bit slow.. I use it side by side with my Symbol Pda issued from work, and the Symbol is "Much" brighter, but from my understanding $1,000 later this Symbol is no faster then my X5 Adv.

I'd most likey get a X50V when the prices drop a bit more.

The X5 is the best PDA I have ever owned. I have started owning PDAs from as far as 1989 and I have owned most of Dell Pda models. The X5 300 MHZ basic is
the most stable and fastest of em all. The X30 was good too and it has the brightest screen of the Dell PDA family. For rich rendering screen colors and brightness no PDA beats the PALM IIIc to date. For screen clarity My X51v takes the cake. My X51v is a great PDA probably the best and coolest PDA I have ever owned as the VGA screen is pin sharp ,its built in Wifi and Bluetooth are the Bomb
but I am still missing my burley X5. My X51v running at 624 MHZ is not at all any faster than the X5 at 400mhz- Trust Me!. The X51v appears somewhat slower especially at startup( I guess its trying to do wonderful things like a real computer).

The X5 is an on the ball PDA -what you get is what you see. Dell Should have just incorporated a VGA screen in the X5 and give it the bright and rich colors of the palmIIIc and probably add sdio -now that would be an upgrade.
With an X5 you know what you've got!!!
