Disabling the pop-up input panel

I've got a fold-out keyboard, and it's annoying how the input panel pops up when I select a data field (such as the PocketIE address bar). Does anyone know how if there's a way to turn off the automatic pop-up? I can't find anything in settings...

I found this out there. I haven't tried it yet and I don't know if it will work because I think it may have been developed for PPC2000 instead of PPC2002, but it might be worth a shot. (just make sure you have a backup handy)

Hey, thanks! I e-mailed the developer and he responded super quick to say that it works just fine. Installed the program, and I'm off and running. All it does is put in an input panel option that doesn't have an input panel, so nothing ever pops up when it's selected.

D'you want to submit this to the freeware section, or should I?

This looks like a great idea, especially when I put my Ax in transcriber mode and use my Dell keyboard I sometimes get a perpetual enter loop. The Ax locks up and looks like I am pressing enter over and over and over.... . ... . .

Hopefully this fixes that little problem
