Moving Files to CF Card

I want to transfer files (JPG, XLS, DOC) from main storage to CF card. I can easily move the files, but have two questions.

1. Will the application be able to find the files after they are moved, or will I have to direct there every time I open the app?

2. When I sync, will it up date the CF or will the sync process attempt to place the files back in main storage?

I believe that Pocket Word and Pocket Excel will scan your memory cards for files, so that shouldn't be a problem. However, I believe the My Documents folder that synchs will automatically synch to your Main Memory.

I may be wrong though because I never synch that folder. I just copy and paste everything.

You must create a My Documents Folder in the Root of the CF Card. You can then create 1 level of Sub Folders within My Documents. If you have used the card in your Axim before creating a My Documents Folder, the Axim will have created a hidden ignore_my_docs file in the root of the card. You must delete this file, otherwise your Axim won't be able to "see" the My Documents Folder.

To delete the file on your PC, First make sure Show Hidden Files is active in your PC Windows Explorer, then with your Axim Synced, navigate to your Mobile Device, then to your CF Card and delete the file.

ASync will ONLY sync to the Main Memory My Documents Folder. There are third party apps that will allow syncing to other locations.

Use AximSites Search Feature using relevant Key Words to find some links.
