Screen Protectors

I would never use them on my Palm M505. I made the attempt, but hated how they dulled and blurred the look of the screen. This was a couple of years ago, and I used the WriteRight product. Are there new advances?
Are the WriteShields or other higher-end brands clearer?
I don't see much sense in companies doing much with graphics and screen resolution if you just have to cover them up with semi-opaque plastic.
However -- I am concerned about screen protection. So, before I spend $30...how do they look?

I used to use WriteRight for my old Palm Vx and didn't like it. After I tried out new screen protectors, however, I finally realized that I didn't have to live with that foggy screen.

I will be putting part 2 and 3 of Screen Protector Review article where I will cover Boxwave ClearTouch and Brando Workshop Protector Plus. They are all great product...

... Screen looked very clear. In fact, there was a very little difference from the bare screen. When compared with the other two, the screen with WriteSHIELD was brighter. When I moved it close to the light, I could hardly notice any glare unless I looked at the screen from the side....

I know the feeling dcsatt...I'm a 2L. ;)

You won't regret buying the writeshields, especially if you can split a pack with someone. They are definitely worth it! To me, they don't affect the clarity much at all, and they pretty much eliminate the glare.
