Power on Button not working

I just did a hard reset on my Axim basic, deleted everything I had in it and installed only what I needed for everyday applications, everything worked fine sync thru usb no problem replace my databases and files. But now when I try to power on my Axim it does not power on using the power buttom. I try soft reset, another hard reset, took batteries out, put them back, uninstalled some of the programs I installed, and still not working.
PS, it only comes on when I hit the reset buttom on the side.
Any input in this matter will be gladly appreciated, Thanx, Jorge.

You have old keyboard drivers. Update them and the problem will go away.

I want to thank you for your input in this matter, its a happy day in the neighborhood because my Axim its working normal again.
Another question does that also mess up the battery because I noticed that the battery really drain quick while I was having this problem, thanks again for your next input. Jorge:D

Next time try the steps in my sig, they work quite well. However for now, be thankful someone gave you the answer, be happy you fixed your axim, and learn how to do it faster and for yourself next time (using my sig). Guess what i do around here half the time (other than my hundred some-odd posts in the person above you thread in the water fountain...). You got it, convince new people to use my sig. However, i try not to be mean or condesending about it. Let me know if i am (unless the person really deserves it...:p)
