So you're hoping that you can use a Wifi Internet connection on the X5 and pass traffic from the PC through AS to the PPC and on to the Internet?

It doesn't have the ability to do the bridging.

I think there was a program that did something like that.. I believe ti was ControlAP

I dont think you should bother though.... never worked for me.. but anyways I think you should just go for a $30 usb wifi adapter and be ahppy that way you can even wirelessly synch your axim with your computer via adhoc and active stink.

it would be very very slow even if you could, your speed would be limited by the bus speed of the axim

ControlAP will let your PC act as a AP. It's not for PPC.
