I'm sure this one is listed here somewhere, but if you go to
Microsoft's Collection of free ebooks, you get a good sampling.

The University of Virginia has a pretty good ebook library (http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/ebooks/) with lots of free books available (though mostly older books). Also check out the Baen Free Library (http://www.baen.com/library/) which has quite a few science fiction books available.

1500 free ebooks at MS alone! I'm liking this a lot.

Btw the Dell CD comes with quite a few e-books on it.
Also if you want to purchase newer e-books, I know amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com sell them. Generally easiest to find on those sites if you do a search for them.

Thanks. That one works.
Between these sites and the CD I've got 15 books saved now.
Btw, that was a joke about the PPC for dummies. I didn't expect to find it for free.

Hehe. . . I've managed to collect over 200 MB of e-books. Can you tell I love to read? :D
